Saint Francis Healthcare Hosts Seminar Series Focusing on Challenges of Menopause

Oct 15, 2019

Saint Francis Healthcare will be hosting an exciting series of seminars under the Red Hot Mammas banner.  Red Hot Mammas is a support program that educates women about the physical and psychological changes that occur at menopause and helps them make informed health care decisions.

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett and Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis will be hosting the seminars, the first of which will take place on Tuesday, August 2nd at the Memphis hospital.  Entitled “Making Time for Menopause,” it, like others in the series, will be presented by a physician who will answer questions following the presentation.

Karen Giblin, founder of the national Red Hot Mamas program, will be also be at the August 2nd event.  When she was 40 years old, Karen had an emergency hysterectomy that included the removal of her ovaries and resulted in surgical menopause. She realized how difficult menopause could be and started the Red Hot Mamas program to help other women better navigate this transition.

To sign up for this and other seminars in the series, call 844-644-2273 or visit www.RedHotMamasMemphis.com.
