Saint Francis-Bartlett Physical Therapist Recognized

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett physical therapist Joann Igharas has achieved certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. This recognizes Joann for her advanced clinical knowledge, skill and experience unique to treating patients with orthopedic conditions.

“We are proud of Joann for becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist,” said Chris Locke, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett CEO. “She is very deserving of this recognition, and her expertise in orthopedics will result in a higher level of care for our patients.”

Igharas has worked as a physical therapist for 26 years, including the past eight years at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett. Before becoming eligible to take the certification exam, a clinician must have at least 2,000 hours of clinical practice experience.
