Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett Celebrates National Hospital Week and National Nurses Week

May 6, 2018

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is hosting a variety of events to say thank you to all of the hospital’s employees during the 2018 National Hospital Week and Nurses Week.

May 6-12 is National Hospital Week, the nation’s largest healthcare event. This week is the celebration of the history, technology, innovation and dedicated individuals in the healthcare industry.  This week also marks National Nurses Week, which aims to raise awareness of the important role nurses play in society.

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is celebrating in its own way by hosting events and providing throughout the week, including:

  • Morning Snacks
  • Recognition Day
  • Employee Appreciation Cookout
  • “Relax, Relate, Release”
  • Welcome to the Carnival

Saint Francis Healthcare Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Audrey Gregory, stated how important this week is to celebrate those who give so selflessly to care for the Memphis community in times of need. Gregory praised the dedicated staff, nurses and physicians, stating how important this week is not only to celebrate these individuals, but also to mark the support the hospital receives from the local community.
