MEMPHIS, Tenn. – August 16, 2017 – Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is pleased to announce the expansion of its neuroscience service line with the addition of neurovascular surgeon Dr. Chiu Yuen To.  In efforts to become a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Saint Francis Hospital will now be able to provide the community with the specialized care of more complex stroke cases and the management of other neurovascular diseases.

Chiu Yuen To D.O., has joined the Saint Francis Medical Partners as the networks’ first fellowship trained neurosurgeon. He specializes in the treatment of cerebrovascular disease and aneurysm including endovascular, open neurosurgical and various spinal conditions utilizing minimally invasive surgical techniques. His proficiency allows for improved post-operative pain control, reduced post-op stays and earlier returns to work resulting in a happier, healthier patient.

As an osteopathic neurosurgeon, Dr. To emphasizes a whole-person approach to treatment and care.  He focuses on prevention and tuning into how a patient's lifestyle and environment can impact their wellbeing. Dr. To fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin strives to help his patients be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit not just free of symptoms.
