Chris Locke Named Saint Francis-Bartlett CEO

6/18/2015 - Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett announced that Chris Locke began his new position Chief Executive Officer effective June 1, 2015. Locke will oversee all strategic, operational and clinical activities for the 196-bed acute care hospital located in Bartlett, Tenn. In 2012, Locke had served as the hospital’s Interim Chief Executive Officer. During that time he was extremely effective leading the hospital during the transitional period.

Locke joined Tenet Healthcare, Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett’s parent company, in 2006. Most recently he served as Chief Operating Officer at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Ga. Prior to his arrival in Atlanta, Locke was the Chief Operating Officer at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Ga.

Chris holds a Master of Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kansas. He enjoys being active in the community, having previously served on the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and other health-related organizations.
