Saint Francis Hospital - Memphis now offers TAVR (Transcatheter aortic valve replacement)

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) A minimally invasive surgical procedure offered as an alternative procedure for people at risk for open heart surgery. TAVR replaces the damaged aortic valve by inserting a replacement valve into the damaged aortic valve.

If you have a heart murmur and your doctor recommends an aortic valve replacement, your doctor can refer you directly to our Valve Program by calling 901-765-1392 or 901-236-0508.
