Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett Names Claudia S. Maine, RN, MHA, NE-BC, as New Assistant Chief Nursing Officer
Apr 21, 2025Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett recently appointed Claudia S. Maine, RN, MHA, NE-BC, as the new Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. Maine had served as the hospital’s Director of Medical/Surgical Services since July 2024.
In her new role, Maine will continue to provide strategic leadership, foster clinical excellence, and support Saint Francis-Bartlett’s mission to deliver quality, compassionate patient care.
“Claudia is a highly skilled healthcare leader with extensive experience in hospital operations and nursing leadership,” said Sherwin Stewart, CEO of Saint Francis-Bartlett. “She has already made significant contributions to our nursing departments through hardwiring our processes related to quality outcomes and first-year nursing staff retention. This is a well-deserved promotion for her.”
Prior to joining Saint Francis-Bartlett, Maine was the Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Kent Hospital in Warwick, R.I. Prior to that, she held various nursing leadership positions, including Interim Chief Nursing Officer, Interim Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Director, and Nursing Supervisor. She began her nursing career at Kent Hospital as a Cardiac Registered Nurse.
Maine earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree and her Master of Health Administration and Management degree at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. She is completing a Doctorate in Health Care Administration at the University of Phoenix.
