Lamaze Class

This prepared childbirth class, taught by a Lamaze certified educator, meets one day from 9am-5pm. The class covers labor and delivery, hospital procedures, medications, interventions, and C-section delivery. Breathing, relaxation and massage are also covered. There is an emphasis on the different positions used in labor and in-class practice of the techniques taught. We have protocols in place for your safety. Class sizes will be limited to ensure social distancing and participants will be screened prior to entering and be required to wear a mask.

Please dress comfortably and bring 2 pillows.

The classes will follow this order:
Class 1 - Overview of labor, coping techniques for labor
Class 2 - Early labor, coping techniques for labor
Class 3 - Active labor, hospital procedures
Class 4 - Delivery, childbirth film
Class 5 - Medications with film and review
