Hospital Quality Initiatives
As part of our commitment to improving our quality of patient care, Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis participates in several national programs and initiatives to which we voluntarily report clinical outcomes data. These programs help us to continually implement changes and update our guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
100,000 Lives Campaign
Developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, the 100,000 Lives Campaign engages hospitals to implement changes and prevent avoidable deaths. Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis has implemented all six of the campaign’s quality improvement measures and has just begun participation in the follow-up 5 Million Lives Campaign that proposes six additional changes to save lives and reduce patient injury.
Get With the Guidelines Program – American Heart Association
Get With the Guidelines is an improvement program designed to provide hospital staff with tools that follow proven evidence-based guidelines and procedures for cardiac patients. This program helps Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis to continually offer care consistent with the most up-to-date guidelines.
