Saint Francis Hospital has brought some of the best cancer related, community oriented materials into one location – our Community Cancer Resource Center. Library staff can provide direction and answer questions to help make the search for information simpler and quicker.

The Community Cancer Resource Center is open to patients, families, and the public, providing:

  • Educational resources for cancer patients, their families, and friends.
  • An in-depth collection of books, periodicals, pamphlets, and other sources of information about cancer, including treatment and prevention.
  • Internet access to search the World Wide Web for cancer related information.
  • Oncology Support Group. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Center.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Access at other times may be arranged through the Health Sciences Library staff.)
