The Saint Francis Hospital Emergency Department's centralized location means help for medical emergencies is close at hand.

The Chest Pain Emergency Center was the first such center in Memphis. The Center provides a “heart team” that includes an on-call Cardiologist 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. When you have chest pain, time is of the essence.

Saint Francis also established the city’s first Stroke Emergency Center. These medical teams are dedicated to providing quick intervention to help save lives and minimize damage from these life-threatening events.
