Much is happening in our Family Birthing Center, from decorating to improved services. Whether you’re starting a family or adding to it, the Family Birthing Center at Saint Francis Hospital is here for you. Our attractive facility is designed for the comfort and convenience of mother and family, with “family friendly” visitation hours, newly redecorated rooms, and a staff of professionals who make mom, baby, and family feel truly special.

At Saint Francis, we know that a “new addition” is one of the most special events in life. We make it easy for family members to be a part of that special time, and we strive to do everything we can to make the birthing experience positive for everyone. Mom has the convenience of labor, delivery and recovery in the same room. And, there’s plenty of room for dad to be there, too.

Our Family Birthing Center also provides education classes for mom and dad, to get them ready for the new baby and to teach them how to care for him or her after they get home.

Just in Case…
If needed, our Family Birthing Center includes a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, with physicians and staff especially trained to take care of tiny people wit big problems. At Saint Francis Hospital, we do things “in a family way”.
