David Wilson has been named CEO of the Saint Francis Hospital -Bartlett now under construction at Stage and Kate Bond Roads. Wilson comes to the Bartlett community from Tullahoma, Tennessee where he served for six years as CEO of Harton Regional Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degrees in biology and zoology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his MS Degree in Health Administration from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
“The opportunity to participate in the creation of a new, modern, full-service hospital is rare and something I couldn’t turn down,” said Wilson. “The commitment to the quality and serviceability of this facility is really exciting. And the fact that the hospital is being built in a great city like Bartlett added to the attractiveness of the offer.” Wilson’s goals for the new hospital include employing the best staff possible, procuring the best medical equipment, and recruiting the best physicians. While he will assume his duties full-time on August 4, he expects the Bartlett hospital to open in the Spring of 2004.
Wilson and his wife Kelly have family in the Chattanooga and Knoxville areas respectively. They are excited about relocating within their home state. Both were very active in the Tullahoma community and are looking forward to taking part in Bartlett community life as well.
Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett will be a full-service medical facility featuring 90 beds, 3 surgery suites, an emergency room and one adjacent medical office buildings.
